What would you do if basic services such as water, gas, electricity, or phones were cutoff? Local officials and relief workers will be on the scene after a disaster, but they cannot reach everyone right away. Medical help may not be able to arrive at all. 911 could be overwhelmed in a disaster. Community safety and personal preparedness is vital.

You’ll learn about risk assessment, making emergency plans, getting necessary supplies, communicating, and what to do during evacuations. We’ll talk about it together and do activities so you can learn how to stay safe in emergencies.
