Covid-19

COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is a disease caused by a virus named SARS-CoV-2.  COVID-19 most often causes respiratory symptoms that can feel much like a cold, the flu, or pneumonia. Besides your lungs and respiratory system, other parts of your body may also be affected by the disease. Although the pandemic casued by COVID-19 ended in 2023, the disease is still circulating as part of the cold and flu season. Updated COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for people age 65 and older and individuals at risk for severe illness. Otherwise, updated vaccination should be an individual-based decision involving you and your healthcare provider. Our COVID-19 vaccine supplies are limited; please call your nearest office (see below) to make an appointment or be placed on a waiting list.
