BOARD OF HEALTH
The Southwest Utah Board of Health establishes public health policies for the Southwest Utah Public Health District. The Board has ten members, with two representatives from each of the five Southern Utah counties: Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, and Washington. In each county, one member is an elected county commissioner, and the other is an appointed individual with an interest in public health. Members serve three-year terms and do not receive financial compensation.
